I spent years finding the right person for the room, and now I find them for the screen.
A recruiter's eye, now pointed at casting.
I am actively transitioning my deep talent evaluation background into my lifelong passion: Casting. Over the past 13 years as a Senior Technical Recruiter, I've sourced and hired specialized engineering talent for industry leaders like Google, Amazon, and Waymo—including hiring first MLE engineers and building a new team at Google. I bring that same rigorous pipeline strategy, high-volume evaluation, and eye for exceptional talent to casting.
That work came down to one skill: finding the right person for a very specific room, quickly and accurately, out of hundreds of candidates. Casting asks the same question — just for a different kind of room.
Tasha came across this opportunity and really took it as her own, bringing her experience, creativity, and passion to the project in a way that genuinely impressed me.
I was overly impressed with her ability to not only capture the essence of the story, but also create the systems needed to make the casting process seamless and efficient. She was very ingenious in creating an Airtable submission form we were able to use across all of our websites and platforms, which made the application and audition process easy and efficient for everyone involved.
I am a strong supporter and advocate for Tasha, and I endorse her all the way. I would absolutely recommend her to any production company looking for someone who can rally people around a story and its characters.
Open to casting opportunities on independent and studio productions across the Bay Area and beyond.
